Year 2: Test this Friday

Dear second graders,









it's time for your next test about Xpedition 3 and 4. This Friday, 6th period!!

1. Present Perfect vs Past Simple


Yes, once more, present perfect, SYFNEJA, remember?




Easiest way to remember: Present Perfect gives answer to the question WHAT happened, Past Simple to the WHEN question.

2. Who / Which / 0




This is the man WHO gave me a car WHICH was bought yesterday.




Or can we leave it out? put down 0 if so, or write down WHO or WHICH.

3. Comparing

4. Words X4




You need to study all the words from Xpedition 4. Not 3, just 4!

Learn them both ways and make sure you know how to use it in context.








5. List 11 and 12




Also; don't forget to study List 11 and 12 on the DWP.

There is a tiny error in these documents: if you click on List 11 you will open List 11, but at the top of the document it says List 8. Don't worry, don't be confused, this IS the correct list. It has both words and irregular verbs to study, so don't forget. (Hint; you can now find the CORRECT lists on Quizlet)
